Indulge in the Green Gut Soother Smoothie for gut and well-being experience. It’s not your typical green smoothie–it’s a thoughtful mix of ingredients that show your digestive system some love. Each sip is a source of nourishment for body and soul.
But there’s a hidden depth to this drink that you should know about. This smoothie helps calm Pitta and Kapha. Two doshas that, when imbalanced, cause digestive problems, inflammation, and emotional turmoil. These ingredients–cooling cucumber, cilantro, chia seeds, collagen, lemon, and ginger–work harmoniously to rebalance the doshas.
Let’s talk about ingredients in the smoothie. First up–Cilantro, often overlooked, this humble herb is a detoxifying marvel. It helps eliminate toxins and heavy metals from the body, supporting your liver and kidneys. Those with a Pitta or Kapha disposition benefit from cilantro’s cooling and lightening properties, bringing balance and ease to their system.
This glass of goodness includes collagen powder and chia seeds, which are essential ingredients. Collagen is not just about youthful skin; it’s about gut integrity. It aids in sealing the gut lining, making it a top choice for those with digestive problems and leaky gut. On the other hand, chia seeds are full of anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids and fiber, providing a gentle cleanse and an energy boost. These tiny warriors, fighting inflammation and supporting your heart, making them a healing gift for everyone, but especially for those looking to balance Kapha’s earthy nature.
What makes this smoothie special?
It’s not your typical solution–it’s a personalized one that inspires you to pause, reflect, and nourish yourself in ways you never thought possible. In terms of energy, green foods are supportive of the heart. The vibrational frequency of the heart resonates with green foods like spinach, cucumber, and cilantro, which are rich in chlorophyll and vital nutrients. They function as a bridge, connecting your physical well-being to your emotional and spiritual health. Consuming these foods can open up the heart energy center, facilitating the giving and receiving of love, fostering connections with others, and enabling a balanced experience of emotions.
***Note: For Vata doshas, please drink in moderation as the astringent quality can aggravate Vata dosha. Lastly, if you have high pitta, oxalates, or kidney stones–replace spinach with another choice of leafy green.
